Won’t work on Kindle Fire Nice simple concept but…the notes I enter won’t save; I get an error message. Bummer. So I have reluctantly deleted it.
Basic notepad Works very well on Kindle Fire. You do have to manually save your notes, but its easily done through the menu at the bottom. It reminds me a lot of PC based notepad programs, both in feel and commands. Nice little app for jotting down odds and ends.
Should have listened… So, when I bought this, there were mixed reviews. “This works great on Kindle Fire”, and “This continuously crashed on the Kindle Fire”. I thought, eh, I’ll try it. And sure enough, both reviews are right. I can sit down, write a note, and save, and sometimes, it will save it. The rest of the time, it will crash, and I just lost everything I spent writing. I *thought* I had it deduced to using Save vs. Save As. Save as tends to crash the app more than Save, but Save still crashes on occasion. Incidentally, this makes the app completely and totally useless. You have no way of knowing when it’s going to decide to save and when not to. Otherwise, the thing works great, does exactly what it’s supposed to do. So, if you’re getting this for something OTHER than the Kindle Fire, it may be the perfect app for you. I can’t say. If you’re getting this for the Kindle Fire, let me just say: Listen to the reviews. It only saves when it wants to save, and not nearly often enough to chance using it.
