Great Free Calculator – Highly Recommended This “Office Calculator” app provides basic calculation functionality, including Addition (+), Subtraction (-), Multiplication (x), Division (/), and Percentage (%=), as well as a Memory Function (single entry). The best part is the “Tape” feature that works just like an adding machine and allows you to look at all of the entries, which is very handy for double checking your results when there are a lot of entries. There are limited menu options that gives you control over items like the number of decimal places displayed, how rounding is handled, and how negative numbers are displayed (with a minus sign, in red, or both). The free app is “ad supported” so there is fairly small and easily ignored advertisements on the tape display, and it is so unobtrusive that I have never accidentally pressed the ad. I would have liked the ability to export the “tape”, but perhaps that will be included in a future release. This is basic calculator that installed and works perfectly on my and HTC EVO 4G (Android v2.3.3).Highly Recommended!CFH
A nice basic calculator for the Kindle Fire and other Android devices Office Calculator (free version) is a basic four-function calculator than runs well on my Kindle Fire. It’s a good calculator for the basic functions: add, subtract, multiply, divide,, and percentage. It has a memory register to store one number. The virtual tape is a nice feature that sequentially displays the operations that have been performed. The virtual tape takes up the left half of the screen, and the keyboard has the right half. In the free version, there is a small area at the top of the left side that is reserved for advertisements.Settings allows the user to change a number of things, like number of decimals, how rounding is done, and colors.Overall, a nice simple calculator app that runs on my Kindle Fire.
